Shared session
A signed-in host shows a model live. Guests join with a code and a name, with no account, and follow the host.
In a shared session, a signed-in host shares what they show. Guests join with a six-character code and a name, with no account, and follow the host.
Starting a session
Start a session in the app.
On the start card, press Show the QR code, or give out the code. A class session joins the class on its own.
Option: Broadcast in a room, to show the session on the wall of a school's room.
Joining a session
Scan the QR code, open the link the host gives, or type the code in Foxar.
Type a name: no account is needed.
Follow the host.
How many guests
Guests ride on the host's right. A Foxar+ subscriber carries 5 guests, and a school member with the live sharing right carries 30, counted over the whole session, not at once.
A right that is only borrowed does not carry guests: a link, a stand, a room, a class or a display profile opens a model, but never a session for others. A room's wall does not carry guests either, but a session can be broadcast in a room from the host's app.
The session lasts until the host ends it. If the host loses the right during the session, no new guest comes in, and those already in stay.
