Immersive room
The wall of a school's room, its browser windows, and the classroom boards linked by group.
In an immersive room, the wall and its browser windows read the school’s content.
The right to use rooms is taken out by the school from Foxar. The school's managers then set up the room in the board, under Rooms and screens.
The wall
At rest, the wall shows the school’s site, with its restricted content.
A teacher takes the hand from a phone: the wall then reads as that teacher.
A wall does not carry guests in a shared session. A session can be broadcast in a room from the host’s app.
The wall's browser windows
A window of the wall starts signed out. It is unlocked by the room link, or by a QR code approved on the phone of a manager or of a teacher of the room.
The room link lasts until it is revoked in the board. A QR unlock lasts 2 hours, 8 hours or until the window closes, as the room is set.
Classroom boards
A school's interactive boards can be sorted in groups, one per building for instance. Each group has a link to put in the boards' software, and the boards then open the school's content, its restricted content included, with no account.
In the board, open Rooms and screens, Classroom screens, and create the group's link.
Copy the link into the software of the group's boards.
Or, on a board, open app.foxar.org/w and type the temporary code shown in the board, or on the phone of a teacher who may take the hand (account menu, Link a board). A code lasts 15 minutes.
A board linked by a code keeps the link for 400 days, renewed at each opening. To cut a group's boards, revoke its link in the board.
